Nissan is a good brand. I think that with proper care and maintenance 10+ years will not be a problem. I would suggest getting the vehicle serviced by the Dealer only. It does make a difference no matter what others will tell you. Yes, it is a bit more expensive. But in the long run you'll be better off! I had my 1993 Caprice from 1993 until 2012, my Sister had her 1993 Cavalier Z24 from 1993 until 2014, sold it to a family friend who drove it until earlier this year, then sold it to a friend of his. It's still on the road! A friend at work had his 2002 Lincoln Town Car from 2002 until 2013 and put almost 300,000 miles on it during that time! All the vehicles I've mentioned were Dealer serviced from new and I knew them all first hand! Hope that helps! Jim
