How much of a difference in insurance would there be between a '03 Miata and an '05 350Z?

Asked by May 12, 2018 at 03:54 PM about the 2005 Nissan 350Z

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm really looking into a 350Z, but the Miata is known to be really cheap on
insurance. Any thoughts?

Miata might be cheaper, but both are expensive due to being 2 seaters and verts. Go online and get some quotes for both.

Ask your agent.

You do know you can get online quotes?

I went through a online quote thing; 350z is around $400 a month on insurance and the Miata is around $325 a month if the insurance is in my name... Both are expensive as hell on insurance but there's not as big of a difference as I thought.

try getting a quote on a Toyota Camry and it will be much lower.
