Tire pressure warning light

Asked by Sonia Oct 21, 2018 at 10:20 PM about the 2008 Lexus RX

Question type: General

Warning light on too often. I have new tires, was told to check pressure every
month.   They said losing 1 lb per tire is normal.  The warning comes on at 5 lb
loss.  Wonder if the sensor is faulty?

Losing a couple of PSI a month is normal. If you are losing 5psi you need to have the tires and wheels checked for leaks.

the warm amber lights on the dash should be relaxing the one most popular is the little pot of gold or better known as a tire somewhere maybe even the spare or maybe their is no spare anymore , how you like zat! or maybe a sensor just 50 dolla replace sensor ! oh must dismount tire , screw up tire balance and program the part also. oh ! who does this for no charge ? the factory engineers did this for our safety ,,just show them love and kindness, we don't need to piss them off . please.!
