1991 crown victoria fuel (inertia) reset switch

Ive read that the fuel reset switch is somewhere in
the trunk, either on the latches or somewhere fairly
visable. However I cannot seem to find mine. Is
there another location for these switches? It has
the carburated 351w because its an old police car,
unsure if that matters or not.

Being a carbureted engine, it would have the engine cam driven fuel pump that stops when the engine stops. These inertia switches are used only on fuel injected engines that have a high pressure (60 psi) electric fuel pump in the gas tank. So if you don't have about 5 psi fuel pressure at the carburetor, check pump and filters, one on the carb inlet and another between tank and pump on the engine block.
