the EGR valve.What now.

I.have same problem but the code said gas module. But went off today on own what should I do

I have 2003 Merc sable w 106,000. No error codes, check engine light on, and stupid gas cap error light... Running okay a little shudder when I step on gas. Taking for new plugs and wires tomorrow Never buy another Ford again!

Okay, got the plugs and wires replaced 5 days ago but the stupid gas cap light is still on, check engine light is off, and mechanic showed me no codes on the device! Definitely my LAST Ford! And I thought these cars were better made than most... I'm back to Honda and Toyota!
