Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 67 international pickup that started just fine when
I received it.   now the ignition switch does not work.  it
will start and run if I jump the starter solenoid. I replaced
the switch, the coil and the starter but it still only starts if I
jump the solenoid.  Any thoughts???

Thoughts? Replace the broken ignition switch.

If it starts with a jump but not by the ignition switch, either the new switch is defective or the connections were done wrong or are also defective. Check the connections and see if you need to change the switch again.

Thanks. I was able to run some new wire for the switch and works like a charm.
