My son bought a new CR-V and at about 68.0000 miles he heard a noise
coming from from what he thought was the trans. He took it to the Dealer
they had it a week and said he just had a lot of mud under the car to take to
a car wash. two weeks later my son went to Jiffy lube and had a oil change
and his trans serviced and they found metal on the drain plug Dealer said
sorry your over your warranty Less then 3 weeks later trans a total loss
which tells me that the dealer didn't even look at my sons car which leaves
him stranded. whaT can we do???
First, I can't understand 68.000 miles on a one year old car. That puts him out of all Honda warranties. Recourse is to take it to an transmission shop and fix it. You'll never get a dealer to resolve this.
Mechanics don't like to work on muddy cars.
