93 Ranger I was driving and I felt like no matter how hard I press on the gas it was slowing down and finally it stopped. What do you think? I have been told that it is the fuel pump or cranksensr

93 - that's still OBD-1 (EEC-IV). Not many technicians are familiar with that system any more. As my colleague stated, I'd look at the fuel system - pressure and volume (not just a squirt from the schraeder valve on the fuel rail but a reading with a gauge. A crank sensor will set code and a Check Engine light but won't stop the truck - it will make it hard to start but it will start in a fail-safe Mode (Formally called FMEM - Failure Mode Effects Management). From what little you describe; dies wile driving, failing Fuel Pump, Plugged exhaust, failing coil pack. Have those components checked or you'll just be throwing money at an old truck.
