Drivers power seat will not move backward

Asked by GuruM19DQ May 21, 2020 at 07:44 PM about the 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driver seat will not move forward or backward..  I'm riding around with my knees on the dashboard.  Unhooked the battery for half an hour and it still does not move backward.  What should I try now?  Dealership told me to check for broken chip or fuse. Where can I find the fuse for this?

Check the fuses but you may need a new seat motor.
