Question type: Car Customization

I was looking for a fun mess around car that would also be
comfortable and unexpected and I decided on a 2000
lincoln ls. I know it's a strange car and a bit impractical but
I like it. Unfortunately I want a V8 and a manual
transmission but the manual transmission only comes with
a V6. Would it be better to get the manual transmission and
swap the V8 in or to get the V8 and swap in a manual
transmission?

The 2000-2002 lincoln ls came with a manual transmission with some of the V6 models

Locate a V8 LS 3.9 and change the transmission to the appropriate 5-speed. be ready to work! and know electronic engine management EECV Ford system or set up a stand alone Motec better yet!

Who would of thought, there are replacement parts for a standard trany for this car.
