Drivers side rear door
My mom's 1994 Ford Taurus rear drivers side door,
won't open from inside or outside, how do I try to
get it opened? It's a used car and never did open
yeah- it will be a hassle- maybe you can take the rear seat out so you can get the door panel off- THEN you can look inside the door and see what's wrong- maybe-
Thats the only way I would know how, have fun...
Yes, you'll have to remove the door panel. With the door closed it's tricky but not impossible. There's a rod that goes from the inside door handle to the latch and another rod that goes from the outside door handle to the latch. These are held on with plastic clips that always break allowing the rod to fall off. Either at the handle end or the latch end. Your local auto parts store can sell you the replacement clips.
