2015 Forester owner. I rate it about 3 stars out of 10. However I would rate my 2003 Forester about a 7.

Don't like Mark so it is a -14. I like our Lincoln MKZ just fine.

Ha! If I HAD to buy a new crossover I'd edge toward the Mazda CX5 for superior handling, but that's because I revere great handling and reliability foremost. Frankly, if you can live without the 5th door the best value extant is the Legacy Premium Sedan...by far. Gamblers and deep-pockets might look at the BMW X1, the new VW Golf/Jetta AllTrack or even the Audi AllRoad for fine handling and a less jacked-up stance. Same with the new CX3? (Disclaimer: I still sell best-handling 2013-2014 OBs...and 2010+ Legs...but NO Foresters...ever!) Also avoid the Imp CT as it's underpowered. Before you buy a new F drive it at speed and in the twisties to see if you can stand the noise and wonkiness. Perhaps a decent urban guerilla, but again, I'd go CX5 for better handling.
