the right way to put the spark plug wire in right firing order

Hi Yel! I couldn't find the firing order for your Rio on the web ... The easiest way to get the info would be to call your local dealer and talk to the Service Manger. You could also try the part counter guys at your local big box part store. They guys seem to know a lot of things and they can reference a lot more if they are motivated. Finally you can look for the Chilton's manual for your Rio at that store or in the local library. That will have teh firing order as well. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Should be marks 1, 2, 3, 4 on the coils. At least there are on my '03 Rio.

If you have the stock plug wires then you should be able to go by the length as well. Longest is #1 plug (or farthest from the coils) and then second longest is #2, etc.
