4WD usage - can I damage the drivetrain making turns in 4H since there is no center differential?

I've read this can happen. To the best of my knowledge there is no center
differential in a '15 frontier se. Should I worry about hurting the drivetrain when
turning out of my garage with a couple feet of snow outside, or should this only
be a worry at higher speeds?

Pulling out of your drive, or going around a corner is all fine. Hitting the gas hard going around a tighter corner on pavement is what is hard on the axles.

If you use 4 wheel drive when conditions warrant such as slick roads, snow, sand or mud you will be fine. Turning slowly out of the garage on dry pavement won't hurt it. When the road conditions improve or become dry go back to 2 wd.
