Radio not working
I have a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan and the radio
keeps cutting out. No matter what input I choose,
it plays for about 10 seconds and then will cut out
and come back on and just continue to do that.
When it cuts out it makes like a clicking noise over
the speakers. Any idea on what is wrong and how
to fix it? We checked fuses and they were all good.
As you seem to have a time factor I’m thinking it’s a hardware problem like the radio itself or the main amplifier, but I’m also not ruling out grounding issues, those have fooled me more than once. So checks the grounds first, you will need a locator chart to find all of them. If you don’t have try your local library for a repair manual that you get it copied as it will be in the reference section.
I'm having the same exact issue with my 2015 Caravan. When I turn the volume while on radio, it doesn't show any levels. But while using bluetooth or sat radio it adjusts the volume as it should. I just can deal with the sound cutting in and out or that popping noise. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I should also say that while on radio mode, I get no sound except for the popping noise every few seconds.
