My car starts go squeak when I hit the breaks while I'm
driving, I want to know what I need to do? Btw it's a 2015
chevy equinox

It's the pads contacting the rotors. Either there is dirty on them, or most likely they are worn down. Have a shop inspect them for wear.

I've heard a combination of life time pads and aluminum rims can cause this if all else is good ,
