Fuel Cap Door

Asked by GuruXWBY4 Oct 10, 2018 at 07:04 PM about the 2014 Volkswagen Passat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have had my 2014 Passat for a couple of
years. Never a problem. Now the fuel cap
door does not open. I find no release inside
trunk or car. Everything else opens and works
fine. I filled it this weekend and it opened fine
with the usual touch.

1 Answer

Cannot open gas cap door. Worked fine for a few years and on Sunday. Now will not open. No cable in trunk or latch inside car that I can find. Tried gently prying and have gently hit on it multiple times.
