Oil leak 2014 Chevy Cruze

Asked by Guru9DD6F2 Oct 26, 2020 at 10:06 PM about the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2014 chevy cruze is using  alot of oil, and has started to
knock. I was told it was because of the timing belt going
bad. Can this be possible? I thought the timing belt was on
the outside of the engine.

Your thinking of the serpentine belt which drive the accessory pulleys.
