I had that same issue on mine, it's the front drive shaft, the Cv joint is going bad. if you can, get under the JEEP and try to rotate the shaft by hand, 9times out of 10 it will rattle, the front joint is press on so that won't be the problem, the joint in front of the tranfer case ,where the cv joint is located will BE BAD making noise, get it fixed before you can turn the shaft, and the joint is locked up. it's a dealer item,600.00 for a new shaft, because won't sale you just the joint!!!!!! so i went to my local junk yard, and bought a shaft with 36k miles for 125.00$$, and installed my self. the only thing in the way is the OXG. sensor that is easily removed, then just undo the bolts from the joint 6 small bolts with carriers or straps on them ,and the four bolts that connects it to the front differential....hope this helps

Another reason is, in four wheel drive the front gears are locked, and in a turn, one wheel is trying to spin faster then the other, depending witch way you turn.thats why your feeling a blinding sensation. Think of it as having a Detroit locker, there are only good going strait down the track, trying to turn, the wheel on the inside of the turn is trying to turn at the same speed, as the outside wheel, and friction, and torque won't let that happen.....hope this helps
