My 2013 Chrysler Town & County ETC light is on.

Asked by Clint Jan 02, 2018 at 10:02 AM about the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I went to start my can and everything comes on but
the van will not start. The ETC light came on when I
tried to start it again and the vehicle still won't
come on. I'm not sure if it has anything to do it the
extreme cold weather we're having or not. Any help
would be great.

I actually wanted to ask you Clint did you ever find out what was wrong because we are in that very predicament right now? Thank you so much.

Turn ignition to accessory. Slowly press gas pedal all the way to the floor and then slowly let it back up to the rest position. Turn ignition off. Then try to start vehicle again. This resets the e t c but you may have to do it a couple times. I did this with my 2011 Town and Country and had to do it twice but it did work. I found it on another help website. I've been having this problem with my van since I purchased it in May 2016. I have had to reset the Etc several times but it does work for months afterwards. It's really annoying but it does save money.
