Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to take the oil cover off of my car and put new spark
plugs in and now my car won’t crank, we’re trying to find
the fuel relay reset button but we don’t know where it’s

Does not have a reset button, that's a Ford thing. Did you disconnect the battery without installing the saver tool? If so you will have to deactivate the security system, instructions in the owners manual. Hopefully the factory presets stayed, if not then it's a trip to the dealership for reprogramming.

My car turns over when you push the button to start it but it’s like it won’t connect so he said it wasn’t getting any gas, do you think the only reason it isn’t connecting is because we disconnected the battery ?

Very possible, the security system sets to full on when power is lost, some vehicles just honk the horn and flash the lights while others completely shut down. Run the shut down procedure and see if it fires up and runs, if it still don’t, look for blown fuses, double check your work, make sure you didn’t accidentally disconnect something. If that all checks good then rent a good scanner and see if it can show you something on the live data mode. HTH

Ive been reading the owners manual all morning to find what your talking about and I don’t see anything. I’ve googled it and I still can’t find anything. I have no idea how to do the shut down procedure

Ok, try this: from the inside manually lock all the doors except the drivers door, with keys in hand exit the vehicle, close the drivers door, using the key manually lock the the drivers door, wait at least 3 minutes, then using the key unlock the drivers door and see if it will start and run.

I’m about to do what you suggest. Is this the reset on the car ?

Only the security system
