Check engine light is on

Feels like the transmission or ac compressor Kicks
when the ac is on. Why would my check engine
light be on?

I have powertrain warranty. Is this covered?

Before anyone can answer this question for you a scan of the onboard computer would need to be done. This will let you know what system on the vehicle has set the fault that turned on the check engine light. Although the code data may indicate a specific system has set the code there are many reasons the code sets. Once you find out the reason the light has illuminated repost and let's see what you have going on
