Epic light engine picture on/ now just picture of engine that fladhes

Just had water
pump replaced  
drove
to.mountain
area a couple
times hear in
California  did
drive my car at
100mph .this is
3rd night driving
car up mountain
area exp light
plus engine
picture come on
.I get off hwy
Check oil
engine is very
hot but no
indicator of
engine over
heat. No
warning lights
came on either  
3 months ago
when loss of all
water  due to
water pump
went out.car did
not show
overheating or
anything. Now
hear I am stuck
up hear
because I'm
afraid if I try to
get my car
down hill my
engine might
seize then I'm
really
screwex.someo
ne help please.

Wait for it to cool. Remove the radiator cap, is the radiator full to the top? If not there was air in the cooling system refill radiator and overflow tank then face the car up hill if you can. run the engine until it's as warm as it will get then shut the car off and let cool a little check foe leaks if you don't see any double check the coolant in the radiator if OK recheck the oil and head down the hill. This is not unusual after changing a water pump.
