I have a 2000 Ford Contour. I ran a few errands yesterday with no issues. I did not hear any changes in how the car starts or how long it takes. I went out to my car today and it does not turn over. All lights/electricity is on, it makes the sound like its trying to turn on, but will not turn. I bought a new battery hoping that was part of it. That is not the issue, left it plugged in over night and did not drain, so it does not appear to be alternator (which was recently replaced) what else could it be? (I am thinking of the starter, but could it be anything else?) 3 Answers

My 1998 Contour shudders, on then off, on then off... when driving at about 65mph. I just replaced the timing belt and it runs smooth at lower speeds and at idle. What could be the problem? 4 Answers

I recently replaced the timing belt and the car is running smooth at idle and lower speeds. Also, it stalls occasionally but starts up right away.

My 98 contour's air and heat stopped blowing.It will work minimal on panel or def. but nothing else.I have checked all my fuses they are good.What else can be the problem? 1 Answer

It will put out some heat and air when it is on panel or def.But nothing from any other setting.Before it just stopped sometimes when went over bump it would go off and come back on.
