Often times you can push out a dimple in the bumper cover yourself ... Use a hair blow dryer to heat up the area you are working with and finesse the dimple out slowly to prevent any paint from chipping off. Keep the hair dryer blowing on the area the whole time. Helps to have someone hold the blower. Also helps to work in direct sunlight on a hot day. The longer the dimple stays put the longer it will take to releive.

I agree and disagree you do need a something that generates heat to soften bumper however, the hair dryer is like using a cigarette lighter under your coffee pot. Use instead a hand held heater gun used for paint removing and shrink wrapping and heat the area circularly from the periphery of the dent down to center very gingerly meaning do not stay in one area longer than a second as it can scorch paint. You need to get to it soon or the plastic will develop a memory of dent crease and wont look smooth again.
