Asked by j_a_hova26 Nov 21, 2016 at 07:04 PM about the 2010 Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In colder temperatures when i leave the fuse that
controls the radio and key fob functions in over
night my truck will be dead by morning. Ive tried
replacing the fuse but still no dice. Does anyone
have any ideas on what the problem could be.

Dodges have alot of electrical issues. Most of the time it is a bad wire or it has grounded out.

Cold weather makes batteries weak. Your battery may be on the way out. I would charge it and have it load tested to see if it is bad. If the battery is good then maybe your radio is faulty and drawing too much power when off. It draws some to keep the settings and the clock running.
