My 2010 cadillac escalade will not change from metric to english displaying mph.

I followed the directions using the dic to change from kph to mph, selecting
english. When I hit the reset button , it says English selected but still displays
kph.

Try to remove the neg battery wait 20 sec the reinstall it and try again

Tried removing the negative battery cable and waiting 20 secs. Did not solve the problem. Mileage display still in Kilometers.
