Why does my van shuts off while driving?

Check the water level in the radiator, not thr resovore the radiator. And also if the catalytic converter stops up it will shut the vehicle off to, when it warms up

Well? Wish I had an answer for you. I have a 2013 T&C. Doing the same thing. New cats, new mufflers. 2013, they quit putting an EGR on it. I replaced the alternator today. It was weak. As soon as, I got it all put together and ready to go on a test drive, it did it again, twice. It's like you reach up and turn the key off. The dash goes dark and everything turns off. It does start right back up.
