Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a hyundai Santa Fe 2002 it's
got no power, especially up hill and is
using heaps of petrol! About 400km
to a 55 litre tank, it feels like it's
going to stall in 2nd gear.

Hi, not into the litre & klm thing, don't understand conversions, but willing to help if I can. A few questions; Is the check engine light on? Have you had the car checked for any stored trouble codes? How many miles on the engine? When did you last change the Fuel Filter, Air Filter? Plugs and Wires? Automatic or Standard Shift Transmission?
