2010 Nissan sentra, is alternator dead or is it the battery or key fob?

I currently have a 2010 Nissan Sentra with a key
fob. The car doesn't have the "push to start button".  
It has the regular "turn the key ignition" but with a
key fob.
I replaced the key fob battery yesterday 6/25/2018.
I recently replaced the car battery with a new one a
month ago. On the car the key fob indicator blinks
then fades out then blinks every now and then.
Won't let me start the car without key fob.

My brother in law said it could be the alternator?
What could be the problem

Your in security lock out Hope you have another key to try?

I have similar problem. Lost the key fob so now I try to crank it I get the noises. its 2011 Nissan Sentra
