Will an '89 Civic distributor fit a '90 civic?
Part # for '89 distrib: #83670N
Part # for '90 distrib: #83610N

I read here that Civics were the same from '88 to '91 and parts are compatible, but I see the PN's are different. Can anyone help?

if the '90 has the same motor as the '89 it should technically work

It may or may NOT work. It all depends upon which of the two possible distributors came on the engine? You can have either a ninponso..sorry, mispelled that. or a mitsuibishi distributor. The last time I checked, they were not interchangable. BTW...that's my JDM SOHC VTEC SWAP in photo.
