Hi, this fell out of my car when I replaced the glove box after changing the cabin air filter.  On the cap, it reads 0.35. J7.  Do you know what it might be, and if it's important to reinstall?  Thank you

Is that the device that helps open the glove box door?

the glove box seems to open and close easily without that part installed, so I am not sure...
