MAF problem/ Engine problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 88 Isuzu Space cab PU 2.6L 4x4 5 speed. It will not run correctly unless I restrict air into the Mass Airflow Sensor. I have changed the sensor, checked for vacumme leaks and intake leaks. (i may have missed one?) But a vaccume gauge shows i have good vacumme. I have changed the fuel filter, fuel pump, plugs, wires, etc...  When i restrict ait it runs normal almost but lacks power but will run and drive still. I am sick of the lack of power and i cant figure out why it needs a huge air restriction to run right? Thanks for any answers. I am a tech for Bowtie Overdrives. If you need any 700r4 or 2004r answers let me know.. chris

It ended up being my fuel pump. It put out far too low pressure. A new one fixed it.
