How do I replace a brake lamp?

You are kidding ...right? Remove access cover in trunk. Locate correct bulb, give connector (wired part) 1/2 turn to loosen then remove from light housing (twist the rubber boot, not the wires!). Depress bulb, give 1/4 turn remove from connector. Insure replacement bulb is same as defective bulb. Insert bulb, press down and give 1/4 turn locking in place. Wipe bulb, test for illumination. Reinsert connector in housing, give 1/2 turn to secure. Replace access cover.
