Please help me understand your question, ike. Engine capacity of what? 2.5 means 2.5 L or liter, of combustion chamber space, you take the bore, or inside diameter of the cylinder, and stroke, that is how far the piston travels up and down (one way) and use a formula that gives you 'displacement' or space, area, of combustion chamber aka cylinder. What capacity are you looking for? I see you have CC, so say 2500CC equals a 2.5L engine. 2.5CC engine would by tiny, like a model airplane

125

First Generation of MDX has 3.5L engine. Second has 3.7L.
