New battery, no brake lights or radio function.

Asked by Jocylyn Jan 22, 2015 at 03:32 PM about the 2009 Hyundai Accent

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Before new battery was installed, all
worked fine.  All lights work when
turned on,  brake lights will not light
up when brake pedal pressed. All
fuses and bulbs in great condition.
Where to begin?

not sure about the brake lights, but if you had the battery replaced the anti-theft system on your stereo might have tripped. you may even need the dealer to reset it. I would google that first though, sometimes your owners manual can tell you how to reset.
