16s are the most you should go on a dx this is basically the EF shape and just tires that fit on the rims will work but toyo T1R proxys will give you the most grip

front 165/65 R16, rear 185/65 r16 or r17... check the classifications on the manual, make sure it fits the rims and check the ride height because the wheels might hit the fenders when turning and bumping...

btw, get the low profile radials because they are smaller tires and have no interiors so its easier to replace and inflate...

for a 17 inch rim i would go for a 205 40 17 thats what i used to run all the time they are pretty cheap and dont ride too bad
