My 2003 Honda Pilot won't go higher than 50mph

While driving the on regular streets my truck
seems fine, but as soon as I get on the freeway it
won't go pass 50 mph & rpms won't go pass 2. The
engine light is on too.

That engine light is your computer trying to tell you what just went wrong. Have it scanned for fault codes and repair it accordingly. Most auto part stores will scan codes for free. Write the number(s) down and Google them.
