2005 Accord V6 gas milage

Just bought a used 05 with 51k miles -- mixed City hwy milage is about 15 mpg -- any ideas?

Check the service history. It may need filters and an oil change. Also, check when the plugs are supposed to be changed.

Contrary to what many people think there not that fuel efficent... how much city are you doing compared to how much highway? are you driving it like i drive my mustang (pedal heavy like all the time?) or tame and mild? if your jumping on it all the time then i would not be suprised to see 15mpg if ur just idling everywhere id expect more... like logan said hows your service history???
