1990 gmc vandura started then quit. seemed to chug during idle. Now it won't turn or crank. lights, fans are working.

I would check battery voltage and battery connections first. Also check the negative battery connect on the frame and motor. A loose or dirty negative connection can cause all sorts of issues.
