Parking Brake light

The parking brake light on the dash won't come on when the parking brake is on. I know the dash light is working because I see it flash when turning the car on. I jiggled the parking brake switch and it made the dash light come on.

So I'm thinking bad switch, right? Well, I take the switch out (unbolt and unplug it) and it looks fine. No corrosion. I am thinking it is probably a connection probably rather than a switch problem.

Thoughts? I could get some electrical contact cleaner first. Then, if that doesn't work a new switch ($11 at AutoZone). What do y'all think?

If you have a Multimeter or something that can check the connection between the switch and bulb I would do that first.
