This will depend on what kind of hitch you install. Suggest also installing a transmission cooler if you are going to tow. You should be able to tow 6-7k lbs with the proper hitch.

if it has the factory trailer tow pkg with transmission cooler (located behind front grille to the left) then it can tow 6500 lbs with proper trailer brake (GM recommends a trailer brake to be installed above 2000 lbs trailer weight).
