I have a 1995 GMC Explorer van The metal hood latch broke off under the
dash I cant find where it went and cant open the hood because of it Is there
anyway I can get to the cable either under the dash or under the vehicle

Under vehicle between front bumper and grill. It's tricky and you might want to look at another same vehicle to know what to push. will need a long strong pry bar or screwdriver. Please click on "Mark helpful" if you're happy with the respond. Good luck :-)
