Transmission shifting problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck will not shift past 1st gear and
reverse. I have replaced the complete wire
harness and checked the shift solenoids. The
transmission has less than 1k miles on it since
rebuilt

After watching " precision transmission " videos on U-TOOB I'd say there's a problem with the rebuild , Those trannys had a few varieties and if not done proper there can be problems . That shop stopped doing " carry outs " because of unknown installation procedures . FYI
