my 1999 ford ranger the tailights wont come on at all and I checked all the fuses and I've also replaced the lights does anyone have any other options for me?

You may have lost the ground. Does the brake light circuit work? Or is everything out on the tail? You may be at the point where you need a volt meter and start troubleshooting checking for voltage. Vehicle wiring is never fun. Check the sockets to vehicle ground, if you have 12vdc you found the problem. I usually splice into the harness and ground it right to chassis.
