I just bought a used 1999 Ford expedition v8 and the problem is to start the truck i have to have it in drive and it does not shift into park. when i do shift it in park its actually in reverse.
And the check engine light comes on. And blinks when i was on the free way Please help im not sure what trim it is exactly the XLT4WDSUV OR XLTSUV

Heater issues on 2000 expedition.Had the heater cores flushed,changed the thermostat.Checked the blend door.Im thinking its the water pump empellers might be coroded.The inlet line gets hot but i can pince the heater hose and squezze it like its not getting enough pressure to the front and back cores.Anyone else have any ideas please? 2 Answers
