Where can I find the plastic piece that holds the hood holder rod in place on the frame of the car?

Need the piece that is plastic and holds the hood holder rod on the frame of
the car as you are driving down the road. Someone else told me to use a
broomstick. Isn't there some way to find one of those pieces that holds the
metal rod in place as I drive down the road. Broomstick? so embarrassing.
And I'm a woman. (Guess I should just be embarrassed that my car is a 1992
Geo Prizm to begin with, LOL) Thanks for any help.
