ford windstar window drivers not working

motor has been replaced.it works. but when pressing button on panel it doesnt go down theres a "click" sound underneath dash near fuse boxes that "clicks " each time

high-use...will be a wiring harness through the door...could even be shorting...most likely an open circuit...one might have to test with a multimeter---or the motor is burned...will be happy to source the harness and the motor for ya...my pleasure~

Common problem with windstars. If you replaced the motor, the switch is probably good since you hear the "click" from the PCM under dash. Make sure your motor is seated in the gear it turns. And make sure the roller wheel that moves the window up and down is not jammed, or out of align. That was the problem with my 03 Windstar. When you remove the door panel, there is a hole bottom of the inside of door, directly below the lock. Reach in, grab the window and push it gently away from you and back to you. Mine made a "click' noise and now works perfectly. These windows cannot stand any extra tension on the mechanism, like being out of align.
