Failed smog test...Smog test sensor

Asked by Deleon_11 Mar 10, 2017 at 01:01 AM about the 2000 Ford Ranger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger. My truck cannot pass
smog because the sensor that is used to complete
a smog check is missing. Does anyone know what
this sensor is called, where it is located, and how
much to replace?

No clew. But get the vehicle scanned for the trouble codes. This will tell you what needs to be looked at. Write down the codes. An auto parts store can scan the vehicle.
