Why won’t My car start

My 2000 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9 L V6 runs
fine but when I stop at the store and shut it off
when I come back out it won’t start back
sometimes until it cools off

Ignition switch they are known for that. Had same problem. Easy fix couple screws on the steering colum and 2 plugs.
